SbR ep1: little review

Hello everyone! I watched the first episode of SbR yesterday and I have to say that it didn't disappoint (it's not perfect, but it's still quite good). I have to say that the animaiton is quite nice quality-wise and I'm quite sure it took a LOT of effort, so I truly can't complain about the simplified clothing, because I think the animators' mental and physical health is more important than a show (they've already had to animate like 40 horses running, give them a break lol). If I really have to complain about the design, I've gotta say that maybe Lucy Steel could've been drawn better, because she looks different from the manga: in the anime she's giving malnourished Hollywood star, idk. Also, I'm a bit confused about some of the narrative choices, especially with the whole flashback stuff: I don't think Johnny talked about his brother's death in the first volume, so I don't get why changing that (I personally thought it was a good thing to get to know that later, so that we can discover tha characters as the story progresses, but this doesn't really bother me that much tbh). The only real complaint about the first episode is the fact that nobody mentions that Lucy Steel is literally 14?? And little to no space is left for the relationship between her and Steven Steel: it looks like they're married (ngl, even in the manga it looks like it at first), but actually it's more of a father-daughter and totally not romantic relationship, so I hope this is made completely clear in the next episodes (I really like Lucy and I think she should be given more importance in the anime, since she is one of the main characters after all. But let's wait to see how it goes before judging that).
